Homegrown audio and tech lifestyle brand Boat has launched a new smartwatch in India, dubbed the Valour Watch 1R. It comes with a new X2 smartwatch processor, a bright circular AMOLED display, a premium aluminium body and advanced AI-backed fitness and wellness features.
Boat Valour Watch 1R Specifications and Features
Boat's latest Valour Watch 1R rocks a 1.43-inch circular AMOLED display with a 3D curved waterfall design and Corning's Gorilla Glass protection. It supports dynamic watch faces and can reflect several health and wellness metrics, along with navigation support. It is also plenty bright with 1,000 nits of outdoor brightness.
It features an all-aluminium build which is 3 ATM water resistant and is touted to be comfortable for 24 hours of continuous wear. Users can pair the smartwatch with either metallic butterfly straps or vegan leather straps.
For performance, the Boat Valour Watch 1R relies on a new X2 processor, tailor-made for smartwatches. Boat claims that this new chipset is able to deliver "1.5x more processing power with industry leading performance". The brand is even promising three years of software upgrades for the smartwatch.
There is also a 300mAh battery added to the mix, which Boat claims can offer up to 10 days' worth of battery life. In terms of connectivity, there is also Bluetooth 5.3 support, Boat smart app integration and Google syncing.
In terms of health and wellness features, Boat is offering several AI-based workout modes and detections. It can automatically recognise 20+ workout modes and can intelligently recommend recovery and training insights. It also offers other smart features like auto gym tracking, detailed health metrics like VO₂ Max and HRV, AI-based reminders and motion detection.
