Earlier this week, Nothing's sub-brand CMF started teasing a new audio product, which we believed to be the CMF Clip Pro at the time. Well, the brand is putting assumptions to rest and has now confirmed via an X post that it's indeed the CMF Clip Pro and it's all set to launch in global markets on August 4, 2026.

Going by the name itself, it will be the brand's first open-ear clip-on style TWS earbuds. We see a short teaser as well, which confirms two colourways for the upcoming earbuds: white and orange. The colour choices are not surprising either, as CMF does tend to go with such upbeat colours for its products.

CMF by Nothing is just riding the trendy tide of clip-style earbuds, which have been debuting left, right and centre lately. Earlier this year, we saw the Realme Buds Clip launch in India for Rs 5,999. Then, just earlier this month, the Sony LinkBuds Clip launched for a premium asking price of Rs 18,990.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi also launched its first open-ear earbuds for 849 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 12,000) a couple of months ago. If you ask us, the CMF Clip Pro could be priced more economically, close to the Realme Buds Clip's asking price.

However, at the time of writing, we are not sure if the brand will launch the CMF Clip Pro in India. Even if they do, it could be at a much later date. For example, the CMF Headphone Pro launched in India almost four months after its global debut. We could expect a similar launch cadence with the CMF Clip Pro.

But here's the twist. The ongoing RAM crisis has been hard on brands and although Nothing has denied shutdown rumours of its global operations, it could start limiting some launches to save on costs. For a newer brand like Nothing, it makes all the more sense.

Anyway, we don't know much about the CMF Clip Pro specifications yet. So, expect the brand to start teasing some details on that front soon, alongside giving us a good look at the earbud's design. Stay tuned for all the updates.
