The Pixel Buds Pro 2 launched back in 2024 as Google's top-of-the-line audio product. Now, after almost two years since launch, it looks like the TWS earbuds are due for a visual refresh. A new colourway for the Pixel Buds 2 Pro has surfaced online, hinting at a Pixel 11 series-inspired look.
The folks over at 9to5Google managed to spot a stray Pixel Buds 2 Pro Amazon listing in the wild, hinting at an unreleased dark green colourway for the two-year-old TWS earbuds.
While the premature listing has now been taken down, it has not stopped the new look from getting out. The overall design of the earbuds and the charging case remains the same, suggesting only a colour refresh for the TWS.
Alternatively, the report also mentions that several readers have spotted the new Pixel Buds Pro 2 colourway in the official Google Play Rewards page. However, it also seems to have been taken down at the time of writing.
While the official name for the colour option is unknown, it is evident that the colour inspiration has arrived from the Pixel 11 lineup. Recently, an accidental Pixel 11 Amazon listing revealed a similar shade of green for the Google Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
As per leaks, the upcoming Pixel 11 will allegedly launch in a Moss green colourway. Meanwhile, the Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold are supposedly getting a Pine green colour option.

Both colourways bring different shades of green and the Pixel Buds 2 Pro earbuds carry the darkest shade of all. This won't be the first time the Pixel Buds 2 Pro have gotten a colour refresh with the arrival of new Pixel phones.
When the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro Fold launched in the Moonstone colourway, the Pixel Buds 2 Pro also got that option. Currently, the Google Store listing of the earbuds offers them in Moonstone, Hazel, Peony and Porcelain colourways.
That said, the new Pixel Buds 2 Pro dark green colour could launch alongside the Pixel 11 series. The Pixel 11 lineup launch date is set for August 12, 2026. This year, Google has also confirmed price hikes for Pixel 11 due to the ongoing RAM crisis. So, stay tuned for more details.
