Google is pushing the July Pixel drop to supported Pixel phones and watches. The update brings a free one-year Google AI Pro subscription to Pixel 9 Pro users, giving users access to Veo 3, Gemini 2.5 Pro, and more.
Google recently made Veo 3 widely available in India, Indonesia and Europe. It's worth noting that the subscription brings Veo 3 Fast, which is a lighter model compared to Veo 3 Quality, which Google showcased back at I/O 2025.

With Veo 3, users can create three free 720p videos of 8 seconds per day. Google has previously highlighted that more features like photo-to-view generation is coming soon. Besides Veo 3, here are all the features that Pixel 9 Pro users can leverage after the latest update:
- Gemini 2.5 Pro and Deep Research on 2.5 Pro for advanced reasoning
- Flow and Whisk for AI filmmaking with Veo 3 and image to video generation with Veo 2
- 1,000 monthly AI credits for Flow and Whisk
- NotebookLM with five times more notebooks, audio overviews, and more
- Gemini integration across Gmail, Google Docs, and more
- Gemini in Chrome (US-only)
- Up to 2 TB storage across the Google suite
As a part of the Google Pixel feature drop, Gemini is also rolling out to Wear OS. Watches with Wear OS 4 and above can ask Gemini questions. Like on Android, Gemini on Wear OS will connect to apps to serve users more personalised information and deeper insights, including helping users craft workout plans and create playlists.
Besides, Google has updated Circle to Search with the ability to provide deeper and more contextual search results. Unfortunately, for those waiting for Material 3 Expressive, it's not here yet.
Rumours suggest the new UI changes will arrive with the September feature drop. Until then, you can take to the Android 16 QPR1 Beta 2 update to try out Material 3 Expressive.
