After the HMD Vibe 2 5G India launch earlier this year, the brand has confirmed that it's adding a Vibe 2 Pro to the lineup. A new promotional teaser reveals the HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G launch date in India and key specifications.
HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G Launch Date in India Announced
The official HMD India X account has revealed that the HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G will launch on September 29, 2026. An attached teaser video also confirms that the phone will be powered by the Dimensity 6300 chipset. It will be paired with 128 GB of internal storage and two RAM options – 6 GB and 8 GB.
The smartphone will also focus on endurance by packing a 6,000mAh battery backed by 33W fast-charging support. Teaser stills of the bottom edge also show a flat chassis with a USB Type-C port, speaker grille and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Camera-wise, the smartphone will boast a 64 MP primary Sony IMX682 sensor paired with a 2 MP macro camera. This will be complemented by a 13 MP front-facing shooter for selfies.

On the software front, the phone runs on Android 16 out of the box. In a push toward localisation, the HMD Vibe 2 Pro will come with Indus by Sarvam AI preinstalled for on-device generative AI assistance and support for 22 Indian regional languages.
Concluding the video, the Vibe 2 Pro 5G will be offered in three colourways – Mint Green, Soft Purple and a dual-tone off-white variant featuring a textured lower back panel.
