Under the hood, the Honor Magic 9 Pro Max is powered by the 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor. While nothing is confirmed yet, thanks to previous leaks and reports, we know the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro performance will be slightly boosted in comparison to the current Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.

In terms of optics, Honor is also said to be adding a 1/1.28-inch 200 MP primary rear camera with a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera.

The Honor Magic 9 Pro Max is said to pack a monstrous 8,000mAh battery, thereby justifying its moniker. Honor is also reportedly throwing in solid security measures with 3D face recognition and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. There's also "full-range wireless charging and full-level water resistance."
