Ahead of the Honor X80 Pro Max China launch, the brand has now silently unveiled the new Honor X70 Pro Max. This makes it technically the first "Pro Max"-branded phone from Honor. The phone features an AMOLED display, a Snapdragon processor and a massive battery capacity.
Honor X70 Pro Max Specifications and Features
The all-new Honor X70 Pro Max features a large 6.79-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 and 6,000 nits of peak brightness. It also brings rain and water touch sensitivity and several eye care protections including a dedicated Dim Mode, Reading Mode and 3,840 Hz PWM Dimming support.
For performance, the phone relies on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 Enhanced Edition processor (overclocked Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset) and is paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on MagicOS 10.0 based on Android 16 out of the box.

In terms of battery capacity, the Honor X70 Pro Max gains a massive 8,560mAh cell and supports 90W fast USB-C and 27W reverse wired charging. For cameras, the phone relies on a 50 MP main camera with a secondary auxiliary lens. It also gets an 8 MP front camera with 1080p video recording.
As for the rest, the phone brings IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K ratingS for dust and water resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, NFC, GPS, dual SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and USB-C2.0 port.
Pricing-wise, the Honor X70 Pro Max costs 1,999 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 28,000) for 8 GB + 256 GB. It will be available in Phantom Purple, Sunburst Gold, Bamboo Green and Phantom Night Black colour options and Honor has not revealed the sale date yet.
