Huawei is gearing up to expand its audio portfolio in India with the Freebuds 7i and Freebuds SE 4 TWS earbuds. Both earbuds launched in the UK last year as part of the brand's budget "FreeBuds" lineup, bringing dual drivers, ANC and long battery life.
Huawei FreeBuds 7i and FreeBuds SE 4 India Launch Date Announced
The Huawei FreeBuds 7i and FreeBuds SE 4 will launch in India on June 18, 2026, via the RTC India website. Both will target the sub-Rs 10,000 price segment in the country and will also be available to purchase via Flipkart.
Starting with the Freebuds 7i, it is going to be the more expensive option of the two, costing Rs 8,799 and will bring 11mm quad-magnet driver with multi-mode Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) of up to 28dB. The TWS will also bring a 10-band Equaliser for granular sound control and will be able to boast noise reduction in up to 90dB environments.
The earbuds will also feature swipe controls for music play/pause, calls and switching between audio profiles. It will come with connectivity features like pop-up pairing, audio sharing, and Huawei AI Life/ Audio Connect apps.
It will bring up to 35 hours of playback time with the charging case and will also support fast charging, with 10 minute charge shipping up to 4 hours of runtime. The Freebuds 7i will also bring IP54 rating and will support multi-device paring, be it Android, iOS, Windows or Mac.

As for the other TWS, the Huawei Freebuds SE 4 launched in the UK recently and it will bring 10mm drivers to the table with up to 28dB of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and support the SBC, AAC and mSBC audio codecs.
It will also feature a triple microphone array for superior call quality and pack a 41mAh battery inside each earbud, with the charging case getting a 520mAh cell. The earbuds are rated to last for up to 50 hours.
Aside from that, the FreeBuds SE 4 will also get Bluetooth 5.4 support, gesture controls, instant pairing, manual pairing and dual device connection. It will be IP54 rated and will cost Rs 4,799.
