Infinix has now confirmed that it will launch its budget Hot 60i 5G smartphone in India on August 16, 2025, at 12:00 PM IST. In addition, the brand has also confirmed some key specifications of the device ahead of launch.
Just a couple of days ago, the brand started teasing the Infinix Hot 60i 5G's launch in the country. Now, alongside the exact launch date, the Hot 60i 5G Flipkart microsite has also been updated to reveal a few key specs of the device.
For starters, the smartphone is said to arrive with a "unique camera module" that looks a little too inspired by the upcoming iPhone 17 Air. Other phones like the recently launched Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 5G and the upcoming Nubia Air are also seen flaunting this horizontal pill-shaped camera module design.
Additionally, the Infinix Hot 60i 5G will pack a 6,000mAh battery that promises to deliver 128 hours of music playback. At the front, the device is said to pack a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone will also flaunt a 50 MP rear camera and bring a bunch of AI image editing tools like AI Eraser and AI Extender to the users. In addition, the phone also gets the same dedicated One-Tap AI key as the Infinix Hot 60 5G+ that launched in India a while back.
Out of the box, the Infinix Hot 60i 5G will run on Android 15-based XOS 15. Infinix also promises a "clean and smooth" software experience with five years of lag-free experience.
The Walkie Talkie connectivity feature has also been revealed for the device, which will let users use Bluetooth to make calls even without a SIM. Apart from this, the phone will also sport an IP64 rating.
While the price of the device is currently under wraps and we'll know all about it soon anyway, one can expect it to be priced well under Rs 10,000 in the country.
