Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 5G Launched in India Under Rs 15,000

Doing justice to its name, the latest Lava budget phone arrives with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ 120 Hz AMOLED display. This panel offers 1.07 billion colours as well as HDR support. 

The phone is also marketed as the "segment's slimmest smartphone" with a 7.55mm body, all while packing a 5000mAh battery. It can also fast charge at 33W via a USB-C port. 

Under the hood, the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset, paired with 6 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There's virtual RAM expansion of up to 6 GB as well. 

For photography, the phone utilises a single 50 MP Sony IMX752 primary rear camera sensor that's encased in an iPhone 17 Air-like camera module. At the front, there's a 16 MP shooter for selfies. 

The Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 5G runs on Android 15 right out of the box with the brand's proprietary skin on top that promises an ad and bloatware-free experience. As for connectivity options, the phone uses dual-SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2 and GPS.

The Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 5G has been priced at Rs 13,499 for the single 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage variant. In terms of colourways, interested buyers can choose from the Feather White and Midnight Black options.

As for availability, Lava states that the phone is currently available at "your nearest retail store," with the Amazon sale starting on August 16, 2025.
