Very recently, an alleged live image of the iQOO Neo 12 emerged online with a built-in cooling fan. Now, the brand has put all speculation to rest by confirming the design, key specs and launch date of the iQOO Neo 12.
iQOO Neo 12 Launches next Week with Built-in Cooling Fan
As per the official iQOO China website, the iQOO Neo 12 will launch in China on October 28, 2026, at 7:00 PM CST (or 4:30 PM IST). The smartphone will come in Shadow Black, Fierce Edge and Frost Blade Blue colour options.
True to the leaks, the iQOO Neo 12 will bring a redesigned squircle camera deco with dual rear cameras. The design is very similar to what we saw with the top-of-the-line iQOO 15 Ultra.
Moreover, the smartphone is also confirmed to bring an active cooling fan embedded within the camera deco and large airflow vents on the left side of the brushed aluminium mid-frame. The iQOO Neo 12 becomes the first Neo-branded iQOO phone to bring a built-in cooling fan.

Moving on to specs, the iQOO Neo 12 will feature a 2K 185 Hz display with up to 2,200 nits of peak brightness. The phone uses the same touch chip as the iQOO 16, with up to 5,000 Hz instant touch sampling. We don't know the display size of the phone yet.
Under the hood, iQOO Neo 12 will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with iQOO’s dedicated Q3 gaming chip and an updated Monster Super Core Engine. As for the battery, the phone will have a massive 9,000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.
iQOO hasn’t revealed the camera specs, RAM and storage options or pricing yet. For reference, the iQOO Neo 11 launched at 2,599 yuan (approx. Rs 37,000). As for India, iQOO has reportedly paused its Neo series in India for 2026, so an India launch looks unlikely for now.
