After launching the compact iQOO Pad Ultra tablet last month, the brand has now introduced the toned-down iQOO Pad Pro in China at a more pocket-friendly price. However, the Pro model still packs a punch in terms of on-paper specifications.
iQOO Pad Pro Specifications and Features
The Pad Pro borrows its aesthetics largely from the iQOO Pad Ultra. The air intake grille is embedded in the extended camera module.
The front boasts a hole-punch notch, while the tablet itself is pretty compact and slim at 5.74 mm. iQOO claims an unusually lightweight chassis at 298 grams, though endurance tests will show how it balances the 9,020mAh battery.

It boasts a similarly sized 8.8-inch AMOLED panel, pushing 2K resolution in a 16:10 aspect ratio. Featuring a 165 Hz refresh rate and a 5,000 Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, the 12-bit display also features an 800,000:1 contrast ratio alongside standard HDR support.
Powering the internals is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with an active cooling fan. It is further complemented by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The tablet also boasts a humongous 23,253 mm2 vapour chamber to dissipate heat faster.

To keep the device running during heavy gaming or productivity tasks, it houses a 9,020mAh typical battery that supports 66W wired charging via a Type-C port. It's pretty close to the iQOO Neo 12 which has launched alongside the tablet.
For optics, the tablet includes a 13 MP rear camera alongside an 8 MP front-facing shooter. The hardware runs on OriginOS 7 and features symmetrical dual speakers, Bluetooth 5.4, and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.
