The Lava Agni 4 launched in India back in November 2025 as the brand's most capable mid-range smartphone. It received the Android 16 update back in April 2026, and now the brand is seeding a new OTA update, which fixes several of the issues that its users have been facing lately.
Lava Agni 4 New OTA Update Released: Here's What's New
First spotted by tipster Abhishek Yadav, the new update to the Lava Agni 4 is being rolled out to users in phases and carries a download size of 202 MB. The OTA release carries the build number identifier LAVA_LXX525_SW_B_V05_HW_V1.0_20260619 and also integrates the June 2026 security patch.
In terms of the update changelog, the OTA release is based on Android 16 and makes the phone better optimised for Jio and Vodafone Idea (Vi) users, ensuring stable network connectivity.
Moreover, the update fixes the Bluetooth audio playback issue that was reported after the previous OTA release. For those who use Microsoft Outlook, the notification reliability has been improved, ensuring timely updates even during overnight idle mode.
Lastly, WhatsApp Quick Reply has been integrated right within the notification panel, ensuring it works directly from there. Aside from that, the new Lava Agni 4 OTA update has also squashed a lot of known bugs and improved the overall system stability.
As for those who use the "Sound of Lava" ringtone, the update brings a new jingle to it, creating a fresh auditory brand identity. That said, to download and install the latest OTA update, Lava Agni 4 users can check for it by heading over to Settings -> Security and Privacy -> Check for updates.
