Lenovo is gearing up to introduce an upgraded "Ultimate" version of its popular Legion Y700 Gen 5 compact tablet. The brand has shared posters for an upcoming Lenovo Legion Y700 Ultimate tablet, pointing to an extravagant display upgrade and cellular connectivity with new AI features.
Lenovo Legion Y700 Ultimate Display Specs Detailed
The official Lenovo Legion Weibo account has confirmed that the tablet will feature an 8.4-inch OLED display boasting a 2560 x 1600 resolution at 359 PPI and a real RGB subpixel array. Additionally, the screen will boast a 165 Hz refresh rate paired with a fast 0.3ms response time.
For gamers, the display will get a native 360 Hz sampling rate, capable of boosting up to a 3,400Hz instant sampling rate. Besides, Lenovo has also baked in a 39 ms full-link touch latency alongside an "AI Pixel Sniper" feature to enhance precise touch control in fast-paced titles.
The panel is also confirmed to reach an impressive peak local brightness of 4,000 nits and is backed by Dolby Vision support. It also supports 12-bit colour depth and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 gamut with Delta E < 1 factory calibration.
The Lenovo Legion Y700 Ultimate will also incorporate eye-care measures certified by TUV Rheinland’s Full Care Display 5.0 standard. To prevent low-brightness flickering, the panel also comes with 3,840 Hz PWM dimming and is said to cut blue light emissions below 6.75%.

On the software side, Lenovo is introducing AI-driven posture and viewing distance reminders, primary colour accuracy modes, auto-brightness memory and an e-paper reading profile.

Lenovo Y700 Ultimate Expected Specifications
While Lenovo has yet to disclose full specifications of the Y700 Ultimate, since it's a mid-year refresh, we expect the core specifications to be identical to the Lenovo Legion Y700 Gen 5 launched in China in May 2026.
Therefore, the Legion Y700 Ultimate could include the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 24 GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.1 Pro storage. The tablet could pack a 9,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.
The tablet could retain dual Type-C ports – one at the bottom and another on the left side. Optics could be handled with a 50 MP rear camera alongside an 8 MP front snapper for selfies and video calls.
