The Motorola Edge 70 Max launched in India back in July 2026, as the brand's first phone to feature integrated Qi 2.2 wireless charging magnets. Now, it looks like the brand is preparing a first-party accessory for the phone, as a new Moto Snap wireless magnetic charger has emerged online.
Seasoned tipster Evan Blass shared on X what appear to be official-looking images of Moto Snap, Motorola's upcoming magnetic wireless charging accessory. The intended use case for this appears to be the Motorola Edge 70 Max, since it is the only Motorola phone with support for Qi 2.2 charging.

From the above images, it is clear that the Moto Snap could follow a similar circular puck-style design, popularised by Apple's MagSafe chargers. The magnetic wireless charger is shown in a brushed grey colourway and could be made of metal.
There is also a Motorola "M" logo in the centre of the puck. The rear end carries a small "designed by motorola" engraving. However, the most distinctive feature of the Moto Snap appears to be an illuminated purple light ring around the edge of the charging puck.
Moving on, the renders also show a braided white cable attached to the puck at one end and to a USB-C connector on the other. The overall design is similar to what we have seen Apple, Samsung, and Google do with their magnetic wireless chargers.
Aside from that, the side view of Moto Snap indicates a relatively slim profile. It is unclear at the time of writing if Moto Snap will charge Motorola phones at Qi2 15W or Qi 2.2 25W. Given that the Motorola Edge 70 Max features 25W magnetic charging support, Moto Snap could deliver the same output.
That said, Motorola has not officially announced the Moto Snap. We are also not sure when the accessory will arrive and if it will be available in India as well. Given that the Motorola Edge 70 Max in sold in India, the chances are high. So, stay tuned.
