New renders of Motorola's next Edge series smartphone, the Motorola Edge 70, have surfaced online, offering a clear look at its design and a new colour. The renders also suggest that the device will boast a super slim profile.
Motorola Edge 70 could be the Moto X70 Air in certain markets
The renders arrive courtesy of Ytechb and show the Motorola Edge 70 in two colourways – Grey and Green. The Motorola Edge 70 is believed to be the international version of the recently teased Motorola X70 Air China launch, which explains the phone's thin design in the renders.

The colours could be officially called Lily Pad and Gadget Grey. The green, especially, is a departure from Motorola's typical brighter green shades and looks pretty good with the orange rings around the lenses. The grey, on the other hand, has a slight green-ish hue to it, complemented by blue rings around the lenses.
It appears that Motorola is also throwing in a dedicated Moto AI button on the left side of the device, while the right side hosts the volume and power buttons. We already expected this when the Edge 70 design teaser surfaced recently. Combined with the slim profile, it's pretty clear that Motorola is heavily focused on a sleek and stylish design to take on the current slim phones.

What's also interesting is that, unlike other manufacturers, Motorola still isn't letting go of the curved display. The one on the Edge 70 could very well be a high-brightness 2K 144Hz p-OLED unit, considering it would be a higher-end device.
That's about where the speculations end, though, as we don't have any information about the Edge 70 in particular. However, if it is indeed a rebranded X70 Air, it could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.
We don't have any information about the potential release date of the Motorola Edge 70. However, considering the renders have already started surfacing, we expect the device to launch by the end of this year. Stay tuned as we delve into its specifications and features as soon as new information drops.
