The Motorola Razr Fold launched in Europe back in March 2026 and now the brand has confirmed it is also coming to India. This is the first-ever attempt from Motorola at making a book-style folding phone and by the looks of it, the upcoming foldable could rival the likes of Samsung and Vivo.
Motorola Razr Fold Launching Soon in India
The now live Flipkart microsite for the Motorola Razr Fold confirms its arrival to India with the "open into flawless brilliance" tagline. The phone has been teased in the Pantone Blackened Blue colourway and there doesn't appear to be any difference between the global and the Indian unit.

As for what Motorola has in store, the Razr Fold is fitted with a large 8.1-inch 2K LTPO 120 Hz flexible 10-bit AMOLED display and a 6.6-inch 165 Hz 10-bit p-OLED outer screen. It is protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 glass and features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset inside and HelloUI based on Android 16.

The phone also features a 50 MP Sony LYT-828 main camera, 50 MP Sony LYT-600 3x periscope telephoto lens and a 50 MP 122° ultra-wide angle camera. For selfies, the smartphone will use a 32 MP unit on the outer display and a 20 MP shooter on the folding screen. In terms of battery, it comes with a large 6,000mAh cell with support for 80W fast USB-C and 50W wireless charging.
Motorola Razr Fold Price in India (Expected)
In Europe, the Motorola Razr Fold costs 1,999 Euros (approximately Rs 2,14,500) for the single 16 GB + 1 TB model. While we do not expect the phone to start in India that high, it is safe to expect it to cross the Rs 1 lakh mark easily.
Since the phone will compete directly with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Vivo X Fold 5, it is safe to assume a Rs 1,50,000 starting price for the Razr Fold. However we will learn for sure once the phone launches, which is expected to happen this month itself. So, stay tuned.
