CMF Phone (1) and Phone (2) Pro receive Nothing OS 4.0 update
In a community announcement, Nothing stated that CMF Phone (1) has begun receiving the stable Nothing OS 4.0 update, with the CMF Phone (2) Pro slated to follow in the coming weeks.
The news comes after the brand initiated the Nothing OS 4.0 stable update back in November 2025, which has since progressively reached the Nothing Phone (3), Phone (2), Phone (2a), Phone (2a) Plus and the Phone (3a) series.
The Nothing OS 4.0 stable rollout will conclude when the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite begins receiving the update in early January 2026, completing the public release cycle.
Nothing OS 4.0 delivers a bunch of refinements over its predecessor, from improved UI customisations and smoother system animations to deeper AI-driven tools and enhanced multitasking features like Pop-Up View. Other quality-of-life Nothing OS 4.0 features include an Extra Dark Mode, new lock screen styles, refined Glyph integrations and updated privacy controls.
