New budget and mid-range smartphone buyers in India are facing one of the toughest years as prices have exponentially skyrocketed due to the ongoing RAM crisis. With price hikes becoming the new norm, every smartphone brand has either increased the prices of previously launched phones or debuted newer, more expensive ones. The latest victims of this trend are the Nothing Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro.
Nothing Hikes Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro Price in India
The news was first shared by leaker @saaaanjjjuuu on X and we were able to independently verify Nothing Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro price hikes in India. With the current revised pricing, the standard Phone (4a) which launched in India a few months back for Rs 34,999,now costs Rs 37,999 for the same 8 GB + 128 GB storage and RAM model. This translates to a Rs 3,000 jump in price.

As for the Phone (4a) Pro, it has received a massive Rs 5,000 hike and now costs Rs 49,999 for 8 GB + 128 GB instead of the previous Rs 44,999 price tag. Likewise, every other RAM and storage models of both phones have also been hiked by Rs 3,000 and Rs 5,000, respectively. Here is a breakdown of the same:

While Nothing has yet to release an official statement regarding the price increase, we already know the reason. As the memory crisis continues to progress, smartphone prices keep rising daily.
