Nothing gained significant attention with its mid-range Phone (3a) lineup. Now, leaks suggest that the successor could be on the horizon.
Spotted by Smartprix, a device from Nothing bearing the model number A069P was found in an IMEI database. It could correspond to the Phone (4a) Pro, considering the logical progression of this pattern comes from the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro's SKU numbers A059 and A059P.

The standard Nothing Phone (4a) IMEI listing also surfaced online not too long ago, boasting the model number A069. While these listings don't unveil the specifications about the device, their existence indicates that Nothing is committed to its mid-range lineup.
However, considering the Nothing Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro launched in March 2025, the Phone (4a) series could arrive at around the same time in 2026. It sure does serve as the first piece of evidence of the Phone (4a)'s existence for those who want to wait for the device.

Nothing has had a pretty mediocre end of the year with the Phone (3)'s release, which did get attention but failed to woo in users due to its high price, especially in India. We expect the Phone (4a) to feature an improved processor, perhaps the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, which features slightly better performance.
Also, since Nothing ditched Glyph Interface for Phone (3) Glyph Matrix at the back, it should be interesting to see which technology the Phone (4a) adopts. Besides, we may also see Nothing finally use Silicon Carbon batteries in its mid-range devices, like it did in the Phone (3).
With the Phone (4a) series realistically five months away, we'll be following the smartphones closely, covering every little detail, so stay tuned!
