After launching three smartphones in 2026, Nothing is already preparing for a much bigger 2027. The brand says it plans to roughly double its phone launches next year while expanding its retail presence in India and exploring a CMF phone comeback.
Nothing to Launch Around Six Smartphones in 2027
In an exclusive interview with Times Now, Nothing co-founder and India President Akis Evangelidis revealed that the brand intends to launch around twice as many smartphones in 2027 as it did in 2026.
The brand has so far launched the Nothing Phone 4a, Phone 4a Pro and Phone 4b. Akis has previously confirmed no new CMF phones for 2026. This means Nothing could introduce at least six smartphones next year. Specific phone names and series details have not been shared yet.

It's still too early to discuss individual products, but I can say we've launched three smartphones (Nothing Phone 4a, Phone 4a Pro and Phone 4b) this year, and we're looking to launch twice that number next year. We'll share more details closer to launch, but the idea is to have a wider range of smartphones.

Moreover, Akis has revealed that Nothing has set itself a target of growing its smartphone shipments by around 50% in 2027. The brand is banking on its expanded product portfolio to drive that growth. For context, there are rumours of a Nothing-branded smartwatch and Nothing's first smart glass wearable for 2027.
On the CMF front, Evangelidis mentioned that the brand is keeping a close eye on market conditions amidst the ongoing RAM crisis. Depending on the market conditions next year, the brand will decide whether CMF phones could make a comeback. For those unaware, Nothing cancelled the CMF Phone 3 Pro launch this year, so there's a high chance that it will launch next year.

Even this year, we pulled off the plug quite late. We're looking at different ways on how we could make it happen for next year. But that's still in consideration. We're staying close to how the memory price will evolve.

Two More Nothing Stores Coming to India in 2027
Aside from new product launches, Akis Evangelidis has also revealed its retail expansion plans for India. The first Nothing-exclusive retail store in India opened in Bengaluru back in February 2026.
The brand is now planning to add two more exclusive stores in India by Q1 2027. The new outlets are expected to be in major Tier 1 metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai or Hyderabad. However, Akis has said the locations have not been finalised yet.

The India store expansion plans are consistent with Nothing's overall stance on India being one of the most important markets for the brand. Last year, CMF got incorporated in India as an independent brand and Nothing is already locally manufacturing smartphones and wearables, including the CMF Headphone Pro and CMF Watch 3 Pro.
Nothing has more product launches planned for India and Akis said the brand will reveal relevant details at the appropriate time. The CMF Clip Pro launched globally recently. However, it has not arrived to India yet.
We're still working on the plans for bringing those products to India. Local manufacturing is an important part of that strategy. We still have launches planned for Q3 this year. The launch season isn't over yet and you'll see more products coming soon. Some rumours are already circulating, but we'll reveal more at the appropriate time.

Lastly, Akis has also revealed that Nothing is increasing its focus on the US market, particularly in the audio segment, where it sees stronger growth potential.
All in all, Nothing seems to have big plans for next year, especially for India. This is an important step towards brand sustainability, especially at a time when big players like OnePlus and Realme are struggling. We will know more closer to 2027. So, stay tuned.
