Samsung has squeezed another major feature drop with the One UI 9 Beta 7 update, bringing several Galaxy AI features to the Galaxy S26 series that previously debuted on the company's latest Galaxy Z Fold 8 series and Galaxy Z Flip 8.
Samsung's latest One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra carries the ZZHK build and is roughly 1.2 GB in size, although the download size can vary by model and region.
Unlike the previous beta, which primarily focused on bug fixes, Beta 7 adds several new features. One of the biggest additions is My FanCam, which uses AI to automatically reframe videos and keep the subject in focus.
Samsung is also adding Call Brief, which provides a summary of calls and related information. There are also Custom Cards for Now Brief that give users more control over the information displayed in Samsung's contextual feed.
Additionally, One UI 9 Beta 7 introduces a new home screen search bar, with options for Samsung Finder and Google Search. This gives users more flexibility over which search experience they want to access directly from the home screen.
Samsung has also improved Photo Assist, while additional AI-related changes have been added across apps such as Samsung Browser and Gallery.
Beyond the new features, Samsung has addressed several stability issues with the One UI 9 Beta 7 update. It fixes unexpected reboot problems and improves Do Not Disturb functionality, alongside other smaller optimisations.
Eligible users can simply head over to Settings -> Software update -> Download and install on an enrolled Galaxy S26 series phone to get the update.
The arrival of Beta 7 just days after One UI 9 Beta 6 suggests Samsung is still actively ironing out One UI 9 ahead of the stable release. However, another beta cannot be ruled out at this stage, so stay tuned for all the updates.
