OnePlus is set to unveil the OnePlus 15 in China in November, and the firm has now officially confirmed the flagship's arrival in India. Additionally, a few key specifications of the device have leaked, providing insight into what to expect from the upcoming flagship.

OnePlus officially teases the OnePlus 15 for India launch

OnePlus India's official X handle shared a poster of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with the text "Forging the future of performance".  The poster explicitly names OnePlus 15 with the caption "Leading Performance with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5", confirming the device's arrival in India.

Unfortunately, the poster doesn't reveal a release timeline. The OnePlus 15's China launch date is rumoured to be November 13, 2025. The early teaser suggests the OnePlus 15 could arrive much sooner in India compared to the OnePlus 13, which arrived in India a whole three months after the China launch. 

Besides the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, OnePlus has also confirmed that the OnePlus 15 will feature a 165Hz OLED display with extra-thin 1.15mm bezels. Powering the internals could be a 7,000mAh Silicon Carbon battery with 100W charging. The design of the device has already been unveiled, and it looks quite similar to the OnePlus 13s that launched earlier this year.

Coming to the cameras, OnePlus is ditching Hasselblad for its own DetailMax Engine. The OnePlus 15 could feature a triple-rear camera setup consisting of a 50 MP wide, 50 MP ultrawide and 50 MP telephoto periscope with 3x optical zoom.

OnePlus also teased an upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-powered device, which is expected to be the OnePlus 15R. The device could launch alongside the OnePlus 15 during the launch event.

It's also worth noting that the OnePlus 15 won't be the first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered device in India, as Realme has already announced its GT 8 Pro will be the first to feature 8 Elite Gen 5 in India. Stay tuned as we will cover more about OnePlus' upcoming flagship as new details emerge.
