Summary

  • OnePlus 15R has been confirmed to pack a 7,400mAh battery with 80W fast charging in India and globally.
  • That's less than the 8,300mAh + 100W combo of the Ace 6T in China, of which it is said to be a rebrand.
  • The OnePlus 15R officially packs the largest battery seen on a OnePlus phone sold outside of China.

As the year is drawing to a close, all eyes are on the OnePlus 15R launch in India and global markets. Now, ahead of the smartphone's official debut, the brand has revealed the surprisingly humongous battery capacity that it will pack.

OnePlus took to its official X handles to confirm that the OnePlus 15R battery capacity will be 7,400mAh. For those unaware, the upcoming phone is said to be a rebrand of the OnePlus Ace 6T, which launched in China very recently.

However, the Ace 6T packs a massive 8,300mAh battery, making it the largest battery on a OnePlus phone sold in China. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 15R will officially pack the largest battery seen on a OnePlus phone sold outside the land of the rising yuan.

Additionally, the OnePlus 15R charging speeds will be limited to 80W, which is again lower than the 100W cap of its Chinese sibling.

Apart from that, the brand has also confirmed that the OnePlus 15R will be capable of capturing 4K @ 120 FPS videos, just like the more premium OnePlus 15
