OnePlus 15R is all set to arrive in India next week. However, the teasers are yet to stop dropping. From spec reveals to community events, OnePlus is going all in with the upcoming smartphone. Now, the brand has teased a new Electric Violet Ace Edition colour variant for the phone.
OnePlus 15R Electric Violet Ace Edition design revealed
Both the OnePlus India website and the OnePlus 15R Amazon microsite have been updated to reveal the new Electric Violet Ace Edition colour option. It has joined the already confirmed Charcoal Black and Mint Green colourways.
At first glance, the shade of Pink used looks like a replica of the Ultra Violet option for the more expensive OnePlus 15. However, that's not the case. Unlike the other two colour options, the Electric Violet variant will feature a fibreglass back, which is another way of saying plastic.
It has a distinct racing strip-like pattern at the centre, running vertically from top to bottom. It features the "ACE" branding within which OnePlus says has been imprinted onto the plastic back using a specialised coating.
So, while the Mint Green colourway is definitely the hero theme for the OnePlus 15R, the Electric Violet Ace Edition will also join the party to spice things up. Also, the fact that it is going to become India's first phone to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor makes it an even more compelling offering.
It is also confirmed to bring a 165 Hz display, a bit 7,400mAh battery, OxygenOS 16 update and more. In fact, the recently launched OnePlus Ace 6T in China is said to launch as the OnePlus 15R with some tweaks. So, here is a quick rundown of everything that's coming with the OnePlus 15R:
