Ahead of the OnePlus 15T launch in China, OnePlus has been teasing new details about the upcoming phone, one Wiebo post at a time. With just one more day left before the official unveiling, the brand has now revealed the network and connectivity upgrades coming with the upcoming compact phone.
OnePlus 15T will feature a dedicated network chip
The latest Weibo post from OnePlus confirms that the OnePlus 15T will feature a new G2 e-sports-level network chipset for stable connectivity. It has been designed with gamers in mind and OnePlus says that a hardware-level network enhancement will deliver a consistent gaming experience on the OnePlus 15T, even in weak signal areas.

It will be useful even when users connect to public Wi-Fis, ensuring a seamless network experience without any throttling or hiccups. Additionally, the G2 chip will also ensure a seamless contactless payment experience by ensuring quicker QR Code scans. Also, paired with the G2 chipset is an all-new 360° surround antenna system, which the brand claims has been designed with "anti-blockage" features.
This ensures strategic placement of the antenna bands so that, no matter how the phone is held, users experience the best signal strength and quality. Alongside the G2 chip, this antenna design could make the OnePlus 15T the best compact phone for network and connectivity in 2026.
OnePlus 15T Specifications
Last week, Li Jei Loius also made some of the OnePlus 15T key details official. He revealed that the phone will retain the familiar 6.32-inch display like the OnePlus 13T, but now, with a higher 165 Hz refresh rate. It will also feature a bigger 7,500mAh battery with 100W USB-C and 50W wireless charging.
Also, in a previous post, he revealed OnePlus 15T's slimmed-down display bezels. It is said to be barely 1.0 mm thick and could become the thinnest bezel-less compact phone in the world. In terms of the OnePlus 15 T's cameras, it is confirmed to feature the Oppo Find X9 series' LUMO Condensed Light Imaging system and dual 50 MP rear cameras, including a 3.5x periscope camera.

Moreover, OnePlus will also make a slew of OnePlus 15RT magnetic accessories official at launch, including an Ice Card Slim cooler, a 50W AIRVOOC stand, a 50W AIRVOOC charger and a magnetic RGB Cooling Fan. Aside from that, the phone is getting a comprehensive IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K rating, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
That said, with the OnePlus 15T launch date set for March 24, 2026, we will just have to wait just about a day. Pricing is going to be a very key deciding factor and it will be interesting to see how the brand prices the rebranded OnePlus 15s later on.
