OnePlus is gearing up to unveil its next-generation flagship in China this October and leaked AnTuTu benchmark data suggests it will be an absolute powerhouse.
OnePlus 16 Could Boast Extravagant Performance
The official AnTuTu Weibo handle shared insights on how the OnePlus 16 performs, including an image revealing the final score. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset powering the phone helps it score an unfathomable 5,384,433 points.
Divided into four parameters, the smartphone scored 1,358,283 points in CPU, 2,010,584 in GPU, 766,362 in memory, and 1,149,204 points in user experience. The phone is seen running Android 17, bearing the model number PYB110.
It's worth noting that the test was conducted on AnTuTu V12, so it might not be fair to compare it with phones tested on V11. The test also suggests the OnePlus 16 will have up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
Adding weight to previous OnePlus 16 specification leaks, AnTuTu's handle points to an 185 Hz display. The post also confirms the OnePlus 16 launch timeline for October 2026.
While the benchmark doesn't reveal other details, previous rumours hint at a giant 9,000mAh battery with 100W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The front panel is tipped to be a 6.78-inch BOE X4 display with a native 165 Hz refresh rate, which can potentially reach 185 Hz when needed.
Optics-wise, the OnePlus 16 is expected to pack a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 200 MP main 1/1.4-inch sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide and a 50 MP periscope telephoto snapper.
While the OnePlus 16 China launch is slated for next month, early whispers suggest it may remain entirely exclusive to China. For those unaware, OnePlus has seized operations in global markets, including the US and Europe.
