After revealing the OnePlus 16 display details earlier this week, OnePlus has now revealed the complete camera setup of the upcoming flagship, and there are some meaningful changes in store
The official OnePlus Weibo account has confirmed that the OnePlus 16 will feature a 200 MP main camera sensor with a 1/1.4-inch sensor and an f/1.6 aperture. Paired with that will be a 50 MP 116° ultra-wide lens and a 50 MP 3x Sony IMX-882 periscope telephoto camera with 6x Lossless Zoom support.
As for selfies, the OnePlus 16 is getting a 50 MP front sensor with support for autofocus. Here is how the camera specs of the OnePlus 16 stack up:

This brings a noticeable upgrade over the OnePlus 15. For context, the OnePlus 15 used a triple 50 MP rear camera setup with a 1/1.56-inch main sensor.
Our OnePlus 15 review found the setup to be a downgrade on paper because of its smaller sensors, with low-light shots coming out softer than competitors.
The selfie camera gets a similarly practical upgrade. The OnePlus 15's 32 MP fixed-focus front camera gives way to a 50 MP autofocus unit, which will help keep group shots and close-ups sharp.
OnePlus 16 to Bring Three New pro Camera Modes
Moving on, OnePlus has also confirmed three new shooting modes for the OnePlus 16. The first is Master Mode, which aims for a film-inspired look with more natural light rendering and less heavy processing to bring a natural and true-to-life tone.
Next, with High-Pixel Mode, the OnePlus 16 will be able to capture at full 200 MP resolution for maximum detail and clarity. By default, most images will be binned down to a lower resolution.
Lastly, the 65:24 Widescreen Mode is the most interesting of the lot. The 65:24 aspect ratio is the exact frame size of Hasselblad's XPan, a panoramic film camera known for its ultra-wide cinematic format.
However, since OnePlus uses LUMO Imaging instead of Hasselblad, the 65:24 aspect ratio replaces the Hasselblad Xpan mode, which the Oppo Find X10 series, including the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max, offers.
Aside from that, the OnePlus 16 AnTuTu scores recently surfaced with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset at the helm and the smartphone is going to launch in Tomorrow Starlight, Dark Forest and Martian Masterpiece colour options and four RAM and storage options: 12 GB + 256 GB, 12 GB + 512 GB, 16 GB + 512 GB and 16 GB + 1 TB.
