ColorOS 16's February update has a slew of new features
After releasing ColorOS 16 features last year, Oppo has announced the arrival of the new ColorOS 16 update on its community forums. The brand highlights that the headline addition is a Popout feature. It uses AI to create a layered 3D effect by separating the subject from the background.

Besides, the update also refines the AI Eraser, making object removal much cleaner. Images cleaned with the tool will exhibit fewer artefacts, and it also improves the Remove Reflections tool to better handle glare on glasses and document scans.
On the productivity front, the update adds a PowerPoint Translation tool, which helps translate the entire slide into multiple languages while preserving the original formatting. This allows users to view the slides side-by-side and export them instantly. Additionally, Private Safe has also been optimised for faster transfers.

For users in Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines, Oppo has added a limited-time Year of the Horse watermark, which will be available until March 3, 2026.
As for the availability, the rollout is currently underway and will continue through February 28, 2026. ColorOS 16 eligible devices include the Oppo Find X9, Find X8 series, Find N5 and the upper mid-range Reno 14.
