2026 is shaping up to be monumental for Ultra-branded flagships from Chinese brands. With the Xiaomi 17 Ultra out, all eyes are now on the Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Vivo X300 Ultra. Both were confirmed to go global this year at MWC 2026 and Oppo has now officially started teasing the Find X9 Ultra for global markets.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra Heading Out of China in April 2026
OnePlus founder Pete Lau has teased the arrival of Oppo Find X9 Ultra in global markets via X and it has been subsequently shared by the official Oppo global X account as well. The phone is marketed as "Your Next Camera", and the teaser image uses a side-angle view of the bottom half of the smartphone to form the "I" in "ULTRA".

While the brand has not fully revealed the design of the Find X9 Ultra, we do get to see an orange-accented capacitive button, presumably Oppo's Camera Control implementation, inspired by iPhones. Given the phone's camera-centric approach, we expect the upcoming Oppo phone to make full use of this new button to help users click pictures and photos in landscape mode as well as unlock a host of quick access camera settings, presets and pro-grade tools.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra Specifications (Leaked)
While Oppo has started teasing the Find X9 Ultra, it has yet to share its official specifications and details. However, thanks to a very recent Oppo Find X9 Ultra specifications leak, courtesy of Bulgarian tech publication Nixanbal, we know that the phone will bring a 6.82-inch QHD+ 144 Hz LTPO AMOLED display with 3,600 nits of peak brightness and Oppo's in-house NanoCrystal Glass protection.
There is no surprise that it will be powered by the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The battery on the Find X9 Ultra is also getting a big boost with an alleged 7,050mAh capacity and 100W fast USB-C and 50W wireless charging support.

Since the Find X9 Ultra is a camera-focused phone, expect no compromise on that front. It is said to bring Oppo's most advanced imaging hardware and software yet with Hasselblad branding and a large triple camera deco.
The phone could get a 200 MP main camera, a 200 MP 10x periscope telephoto lens and a 50 MP ultra-wide angle sensor. To top it all off, the Find X9 Ultra will also likely ship with a 50 MP selfie camera and an official IP66 + IP68 + IP69 dust and water resistance rating.
That said, with the Find X9 Ultra global launch fast approaching, we expect the phone to launch in China in March 2026. There are also rumours of it coming to India. However, there is no official word on that front yet.
