The upcoming member of the Oppo Find X9 family is already confirmed to be the Find X9s. While the brand has not started officially teasing the phone, leaks and rumours have already given us a good idea about what to expect. Now, a fresh report has outed almost every key detail of the Oppo Find X9s global variant, which is likely to be the Indian unit as well.
Oppo Find X9s could get over 7,000mAh battery
Courtesy of tech publication SmartPrix, we now know that the upcoming Oppo Find X9s will reportedly pack a 7,025mAh battery, with 100W fast USB-C charging support. It is the same cell capacity as the Oppo Find X9, which launched last year. The publication claims that this is the global variant of the smartphone and the China unit will have a lower mAh capacity.

In fact, the report states that there are other areas as well where the upcoming Oppo phone will differ based on region. For instance, in China, Find X9s is expected to feature a compact display with most likely a 6.32-inch screen. However, the global model will resemble the Find X9's screen size at 6.59 inches. It will reportedly bring a 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
For power, the Oppo Find X9s will rely on the latest Dimensity 9500s processor. This was confirmed last week at the MediaTek Tech Day event in India. In terms of RAM and storage, the phone is said to ship with 12 GB RAM and up to 512 GB storage. Expect the phone to ship with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box.

In terms of cameras, just like the Find X9, the X9s is also said to gain a triple 50 MP rear camera setup. The module is expected to bring a 50 MP main sensor, a 50 MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide angle lens and a 50 MP 3x periscope telephoto camera. For selfies, Find X9s will share the same 32 MP camera as the Find X9.
The report also mentions the use of the Sony LYT-700 sensor for either the main camera or the telephoto sensor. We are hoping it is for the telephoto lens since the Find X9 features a Sony LYT-600 telephoto camera. So, the LYT-700 sensor inside the Find X9s could actually help it stand out in its segment.
All in all, if these details turn out to be true, there is in reality, not much difference between the Find X9 and the Find X9s. This could actually be a good thing since Find X9s is expected to start below Rs 60,000 in India. At that price point, it will compete with the likes of the Vivo X200T and the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini. Since Oppo Find X9s is expected to go official by Q2 2026, we still have time for more concrete details to emerge.
