Oppo Confirms Find X9s India Launch at MediaTek Tech Day

MediaTek held its Tech Day today, on February 6, 2026, and Oppo took the opportunity to confirm the Find X9s India launch at the event. The smartphone will be the latest addition to the Find X9 series and will debut with an all-new flagship-grade MediaTek processor.

Oppo Find X9s will get Dimensity 9500s

On the MediaTek Tech Day stage, Oppo announced that it will soon unveil the Find X9s, powered by the Dimensity 9500s processor. We've seen a handful of Find X9s leaks in the last few weeks, including information about its processor, display and cameras. This information from Oppo confirms the recent Oppo Find X9s processor leak.

Oppo India's Head of Communications, Goldee Patnaik, announced that Find X9s will be the entry point into the brand's flagship ecosystem. This directly confirms that the Find X9s will sit below the existing standard Find X9 smartphone and above Oppo's latest Reno 15, so it may arrive as one of the phones under Rs 60,000.

The Dimensity 9500s is built on TSMC's 3nm process and features ARMv9.2-A cores that should offer flagship-grade performance. It's an octa-core SoC with a prime Cortex-A925 core clocked at 3.73GHz, and should perform on par with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.

For those unaware, the Find X9s will be a compact smartphone with a 6.3-inch 1.5K AMOLED display and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to feature a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

Besides featuring one of the largest batteries for a small phone, the Find X9s is also expected to get a dual 200 MP camera setup on the rear, alongside an ultrawide sensor. One of the 200 MP cameras is expected to be a periscope telephoto.

While Oppo still hasn't revealed a potential launch date of the Find X9s, rumours suggest it could arrive at the start of Q2 2026 in April to June 2026. The brand should share more information as time progresses, so stay tuned.
