Oppo appears to be readying a new compact flagship tablet with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The tablet could compete with the likes of the iPad Mini and could arrive soon in China.
The flagship Oppo Tablet could feature an OLED display
The information arrives courtesy of Digital Chat Station on Weibo, which unveiled that the upcoming Oppo tablet could feature an 8.8-inch OLED display and feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

While that's all the information we have about the tablet right now, it's evident that Oppo is targeting a decent chunk of users who want a powerful mini tablet that's not the iPad Mini. Besides, Apple hasn't launched a new iPad Mini since 2024, and with the iPad Mini 8 rumoured to arrive in 2026, Oppo probably wants to score early.
The use of an OLED panel indicates a focus on display quality while Qualcomm's latest 8 Elite Gen 5 should make it one of the best tablets for gaming in the market upon its arrival.

DCS suggests the tablet could launch early 2026 alongside a compact Oppo smartphone, rumoured to be the Oppo Find X9s. Further details about the tablet's specifications and pricing will be revealed as we inch closer to launch.
That said, it's possible that Oppo could rebrand the tablet and launch it under the OnePlus brand in markets such as India, which the firm has done before. The flagship mini Android tablet market is heating up with competitors like Xiaomi, Redmagic and iQOO closing in. Stay tuned as we cover any new developments in this space.
