Oppo started teasing the K13 Turbo series' India launch a couple of days ago. Now, the brand has officially teased it to be "India’s only smartphone with an in-built fan."
Although the recent China launch of the OPPO K13 Turbo series already confirmed a built-in cooling fan, it’s reassuring to see that the same is being carried over to the Indian models. The brand took to its official X handle to reveal the same alongside a brief teaser.
Not just cool. It's India’s only smartphone with an in-built fan.

Additionally, the dedicated Flipkart microsite has also been updated to reflect the same. Besides, going by the China launch, we can also assume that the series will see the Oppo K13 Turbo and Oppo K13 Turbo Pro go official in India.
Apart from this, in a press release, the brand has confirmed a bunch of other details. For starters, we get to know that the built-in fan is backed by what Oppo is calling a Storm Engine cooling system, "which introduces a variable-speed centrifugal fan embedded directly within the phone’s build."

The brand also adds that, "unlike add-on accessories or passive systems, this exhaust fan directly cools the device’s processor, allowing it to run at peak speeds for longer without heating."
Further, the fan is said to use 0.1 mm-thin blades and spin at 18,000 rpm. To fit this fan in, the brand claims that the Oppo K13 Turbo series uses an L-shaped cooling duct. This design and the fan is also said to improve airflow by up to 220% in comparison to other smartphones.
There's some serious focus on thermal management as the phones will also come with a 7,000 mm2 vapour chamber alongside a 19,000 mm2 graphite layer to passively dissipate heat. As per the brand, the overall cooling system of the phone ensures a 2-4°C temperature drop, "even in bright, high-load conditions like BGMI under direct sun."

Moreover, the built-in fan is also well-protected against water, thanks to IPX6, IPX8 and IPX9 ratings. Oppo also notes that despite the cooling fan, the K13 Turbo series packs a big 7,000mAh battery without making the phone thicker.
While the exact launch date is still under wraps, leaks suggest the phones could land anywhere between August 11 to August 14, 2025. We can expect the brand to reveal the launch date in the coming days, along with confirming the other specifications of the device.
