Oppo has just launched the new Pad 6 tablet in China, along with the Oppo Pad Air 5, Reno 16 series, and Enco Air 5s earbuds. The tablet is aimed towards productivity and entertainment, featuring a large 3K display, a very capable Dimensity processor and a massive battery capacity.
Oppo Pad 6 Specifications and Features
The Oppo Pad 6 arrives just a month after the Oppo Pad 5 Pro launched in China. It clearly seems like the brand is trying to expand its tablet catalogue in the region. Coming back to the Oppo Pad 6, it features a 12.1-inch 3K LCD panel with a resolution of 3000 x 2120 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 7:5 aspect ratio. This should provide a more natural book-like reading experience, according to the brand.

Oppo is also launching a Soft Light Edition of the Oppo Pad 6 that will come with an anti-glare screen, which should reduce reflections while appearing easier on the eyes. This should be useful for anyone who spends hours reading on the tablet. The screen will also come with Dolby Vision support.
Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s, like the earlier Oppo Pad 6 leaks suggested. This is a powerful processor also seen paired with the recently launched Lenovo Y900 tablets. It should deliver high-end gaming performance, and it will be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

Coming to battery, the Oppo Pad 6 comes with a huge 10,420mAh capacity, which should last for days and supports 67W fast charging. The tablet weighs just 577 grams and is 5.9mm in thickness, almost as thin as the Oppo Pad 5 Pro. There's also a 6-speaker setup for entertainment, a single 8 MP camera on the rear and an 8 MP camera on the front, and it supports 4K 30FPS video recording.
It comes with ColorOS 6 based on Android 16 with 6 years of OS updates. Oppo is also advertising a lot of multitasking features, a floating window, a desktop file manager, and stylus support. This ensures that users can make the most out of the large 12-inch display.
For connectivity, the Oppo Pad 6 supports Wi-Fi 7 and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 USB-C port. However, it does not support cellular functionality as there is no SIM card support.
The Oppo Pad 6 is available in three configurations: 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB and starts at 3,499 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 49,000). Users can pick it up in three colour options, namely, Starlight Blue, Galaxy Silver and Deep Space Grey. Pre-orders for the Oppo Pad 6 are already open on the official Oppo China store.
