Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max with 200 MP Camera and Dimensity 8450 Debuts Globally

After multiple teasers and updates, Oppo has finally launched the Reno 15 Pro Max smartphone in Taiwan. This is the first time a Reno phone has debuted with the "Pro Max" moniker and it brings some noteworthy specs to live up to that name. Here are the complete specifications, pricing and availability details rundown of the same.

Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max Specifications and Features

Kicking things off with the design, the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max brings a look similar to the other Reno 15 series smartphones. It also features a cold-carved back glass panel with the industry's first holographic lithography design. There is also the familiar squircle camera deco in the top-left corner. It comes in Twilight Gold and Desert Brown colourways. 

At the front, it brings a 6.78-inch 120 Hz 10-bit AMOLED panel to the table with 1.5K resolution and LTPO support. It also offers 100% DCI-P3 support along with up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness. The panel is further protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

Under the hood, the Reno 15 Pro Max is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor. It is paired with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Software-wise, the phone ships with Android 16-based  ColorOS 16 out of the box.

Now, coming to the cameras, the Pro Max phone is equipped with a 200 MP main camera with 2-axis OIS support. It is joined by a 50 MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 50 MP telephoto camera. For selfies, the smartphone relies on a 50 MP shooter with Auto Focus support.

Battery-wise, the phone gets a 6,500mAh capacity cell with support for 80W fast USB-C charging and 55W PPS charging. 

Aside from that, the Reno 15 Pro Max is IP68 + IP69 rated, comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers and offers Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC and dual SIM 5G support.

Lastly, as for how much the smartphone costs, the Reno 15 Pro Max price in Taiwan is set at 24,990 New Taiwan dollars (approximately Rs 72,000) for the sole 16 GB + 512 GB model. At the time of writing, Oppo has not revealed the availability date of the smartphone.
