Summary

  • Google Pixel 10 series could launch with up to twelve months access to AI Pro plan for free.
  • It will reportedly give users access to 2 TB storage, Gemini 2.5 Pro, Veo 3, NotebookLM and more.
  • The Pixel 10 lineup of devices will break cover on August 20, 2025 at 1:00 PM ET (or 10:30 PM IST).

Google is going to officially launch the Pixel 10 series smartphones in a few weeks time. As it is with Pixel smartphones, this time around as well, software and AI will reportedly take centre stage. To ensure Pixel 10 users get access to the latest and greatest AI tools from Google, the company will reportedly bundle one of its top AI-focused Google One plan for absolutely free.

Fellow tech publication Android Authority has revealed that the upcoming Google Pixel 10 series will reportedly launch with access to Google AI Pro Plan for absolutely free. This was unearthed by the publication via an APK teardown that revealed this work-in-progress launch day bundle for the smartphones.

However, this freebie will likely be offered for a limited period of time. It will probably launch as a promotional bundle for early adopters of the Google Pixel 10 series smartphones. This promotional duration can range from six months to up to twelve months, depending on the smartphone.

So, Pixel 10 series owners can enjoy up to Rs 23,400 worth of benefits for the first year of purchase. The Google AI Pro Plan is one of the top-end Google One plans that bundle cloud storage along with access to the latest and greatest from Gemini.

With the AI Pro plan, users get access to up to 2 TB of cloud storage, shared between Google Photos, Drive and Gmail. It also brings access to the latest Gemini 2.5 Pro Large Language Reasoning model along with limited access to Google's video generation model, Veo 3.

Apart from this, up to 1,000 monthly credits are added to the plan to let users create AI-generated videos using Flow and Whisk. AI Pro users will also enjoy seamless Google Gemini integration throughout Google Workspace items like Sheets, Docs, Gmail and more.

Other perks include access to NotebookLM with 5x audio overviews, custom audio styles and tones, and note collaboration feature. Additionally, AI Pro subscribers will enjoy up to 10% cashback on purchases made via the official Google Store.

With that said, we expect Google to offer the AI Pro trial in a six-to-twelve-month split duration. This means that the base non-Pro Pixel 10 should get six months free access to AI Pro while the Pro siblings should enjoy up to 12 months of access.

This is the same split that Google followed for the Pixel 9 lineup of smartphones. So, it's fair to expect the same this time around as well. With that said, do note that this is neither confirmed nor official. Since the info has been derived via an APK teardown, it does mean that this might not materialise into reality.

However, since Google has focused on AI heavily in the past few years and is not leaving any opportunity to taunt Apple due to its failed AI promises, it is more than likely that this promotional offer might become true. All will be revealed when the devices break cover on August 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM ET (or 10:30 PM IST).
