POCO is gearing up to launch two new smartphones under its popular X series. The brand recently posted a cryptic teaser showcasing the dark silhouettes of two smartphones, believed to be the Poco X8 and Poco X8 Power, alongside cues that the phones will focus on battery endurance.
Poco X8 and Poco X8 Power Officially Teased
The official Poco India X account has posted a teaser poster of what could be the Poco X8 and Poco X8 Power smartphones. The poster contains two smartphones of different sizes, accompanied by the tagline “EXponential Power Detected”. The "X" is capitalised and highlighted in Poco's signature Yellow theme.

The taller smartphone is expected to be the Poco X8 Power that's expected to be a rebranded Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. To stay true to its power moniker, the phone could pack a gargantuan 10,000mAh battery. Under the hood, it could feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor alongside a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120 Hz AMOLED panel.
The shorter smartphone is believed to be the standard Poco X8 that's believed to be based on the Redmi Note 17 Pro. It is rumoured to feature a massive 9,000mAh battery alongside the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor.

Beyond battery endurance, the phones could also feature great physical endurance. Rumours suggest both the Poco X8 Power and Poco X8 are expected to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings, whilst also featuring Gorilla Glass Victus 2 at the front for protection against scratches and drops.
While the poster doesn't reveal the launch date or key specifications of these smartphones, previous Poco X8 Power launch rumours have pointed toward a September 2026 launch. Besides, the pricing of these phones has also been tipped, with the X8 Power expected to cost around ~Rs 35,000, while the Poco X8 is expected to cost ~Rs 30,000.
With just a week to go until the transition into September 2026, more information about their key specifications and exact launch date should be revealed, so stay tuned.
