After officially teasing the Poco X8 and Poco X8 Power India launch earlier this week, the brand has finally revealed an exact launch date. We also get to see the design of the phones as well as some key details.
Poco X8 and Poco X8 Power Launch Date in India Announced
A dedicated Flipkart microsite for the phones reveals that they will launch together in India on September 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. Apart from this, the Poco X8 is showcased in a white and orange colourway. Meanwhile, the Poco X8 Power is showcased in the brand's signature yellow colourway. Both phones are seen sporting dual rear cameras with an LED flash.

Talking about specifications, the regular X8 is confirmed to pack a big 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which the brand promises can deliver 3.2 days of usage. The phone will also come with 67W fast charging support, promising to charge the phone from 1 to 50% in 35 minutes. Additionally, the brand is also throwing in 22.5W reverse wired charging into the mix.
As for the Poco X8 Power specs, it is confirmed to pack a bigger 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, backed by a 3.5-day usage claim. It will also arrive with faster 100W charging, which can charge the phone from 1 to 50% in 30 minutes. The phone will also support faster reverse-wired charging at 27W.

Apart from this, both phones are confirmed to support bypass and PPS charging. The brand is also promising over six years of battery health integrity, with 80% capacity after 1,600 cycles of charging.
Other confirmed Poco X8 and Poco X8 Power specifications include dual-stereo speakers tuned by Hi-Res audio and backed by a 300% volume boost feature. In addition, both phones will feature displays that are TÜV Rheinland certified.
