Looks like Poco is all set to join the Pro Max fever as the brand has been teasing the Poco X8 Pro Max alongside the regular X8 Pro. Well, the wait is almost over as the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max launch date in India is finally confirmed for next week.
Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max India launch date set for March 17
The upgraded Flipkart microsite of Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max reveals March 17, 2026, as the launch date of both phones. Although at the time of writing, Poco has not revealed the exact time of launch. However, we get our first official look at the design of both smartphones.
The Poco X8 Pro has been shown off in a White colourway, while the Poco X8 Pro Max reveals a Black option. Both look identical and fall in line with the recently leaked Poco X8 Pro series design, which also showed off a Light Blue colour option. One of the standout features of the design is the all-new Dynamic Ring with multicoloured LEDs, housed within the camera module.
Moreover, the official Poco global X handle has also confirmed the chipsets powering the X8 series. The standard Poco X8 will feature the Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor (an overclocked version of the Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset), while the X8 Pro Max will gain the newly launched Dimensity 9500s SoC.

While Poco has not shared any more details about the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max, leaks and rumours have been circulating for some time. Even the entire Poco X8 Pro Max marketing materials leaked recently, confirming suspicions of both phones being a rebrand of the Redmi Turbo 5 and Redmi Turbo 5 Max.
