It's no surprise that Poco is planning on launching the X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max soon in markets like India and Europe. The brand has already started teasing their arrival and fans are waiting to see what the new phones have to offer. Now, a new leak reveals details about the Poco X8 Pro Max, revealing its expected launch in India and performance.
Poco X8 Pro Max could launch in India next month
As per tipster Abhishek Yadav, the upcoming Poco X8 Pro Max will launch in India by mid of March 2026. It will be unveiled alongside the Poco X8 Pro and will become the brand's newest "X" series lineup in the country.

Moreover, the leaker has also managed to spot the AnTuTu listing of the phone, revealing an impressive 3,61,2095 points. This doesn't come as a surprise since the Poco X8 Pro Max is a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, which launched last month in China. It rocks the Dimensity 9500 chipset and scores similarly on AnTuTu.
So, if the Poco X8 Pro Max launches with the flagship MediaTek processor, it could become a serious contender for the best phone under Rs 60,000 price bracket. Recent Poco X8 Pro Max price leak for Europe hinted at 529 Euros (approximately Rs 56,500) for 12 GB + 256 GB.

Moreover, if the phone ends up being a direct rebrand of its Chinese counterpart, we can expect it to deliver a well-rounded package for the price. The phone could flaunt a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120 Hz 10-bit OLED display with 3,500 nits of peak brightness.
It could manage to fit in a massive 9,000mAh battery and support 100W fast USB-C charging. For cameras, Poco X8 Pro Max could rely on a 50 MP LightFusion 600 main camera and feature 4K @ 60 FPS video recording from both the selfie and back cameras.
All in all, we are excited to see what Poco does with its first-ever "Pro Max" branded smartphone. It will most likely be positioned in the premium mid-range segment and could compete with the likes of the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini, the Vivo X200T and even the Motorola Signature.
