Realme 16 Pro+ Launched in India with 200 MP Camera, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and 7,000mAh Battery

The Realme 16 Pro+ has gone official as the brand's latest camera-centric mid-range smartphone, alongside the regular Realme 16 Pro. Headlining Realme's latest Pro+ offering is a segment-first 200 MP "Portrait Master" camera system, paired with a Snapdragon 7 Gen chipset, a massive battery and a new design language co-created with renowned industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa. 

Realme 16 Pro+ Specifications and Features

Design-wise, the Realme 16 Pro+ adopts an Urban Wild Design with an industry-first bio-based organic silicone back and a metal mirror camera deco with PVD coating. The phone flaunts a relatively slim form factor of 8.09mm on the India-exclusive Camellia Pink variant as well. 

The Realme 16 Pro+ features a 6.8-inch AMOLED HyperGlow 4D Curve+ display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, 1280 x 2800 resolution, 10-bit colour depth, 100% DCI-P3 coverage and up to 6,500 nits of peak brightness. Additionally, the panel is also backed by eye-comfort features, including 4,608 Hz PWM dimming.

Under the hood, the Realme 16 Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM. Realme claims an AnTuTu score north of 1.44 million, backed by an AirFlow VC cooling system for sustained performance. The phone runs Realme UI 7.0, which introduces the new Flux Engine for smoother animations, faster app launches and smoother multitasking. 

Cameras remain the main highlight though, with the Realme 16 Pro+ sporting a 200 MP Samsung HP5 primary rear camera sensor with OIS. It's also backed by the brand's new LumaColor IMAGE system, certified by TUV Rheinland. It is accompanied by a 50 MP 3.5x telephoto portrait camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera and a 50 MP front shooter.

The phone supports full-focal 4K HDR video recording, AI Perfect Shot for group photos, AI Ultra Clarity, Vibe Master Mode with 21 custom portrait tones and advanced ProDepth bokeh for telephoto portraits. 

Fueling the Realme 16 Pro+ is a massive 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, coupled with features like bypass charging. This combination easily makes it one of the best battery backup phones out there right now. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and dual nano-SIM support. 

Realme 16 Pro+ Price in India and Sale Date

The Realme 16 Pro+ price in India is set at Rs 39,999, while customers can avail it for an effective price of Rs 35,999 with launch offers. The phone is available in 8 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 256 GB storage configurations. 

It comes in Master Gold, Master Grey and Camellia Pink colour options, with the pink variant exclusive to the Indian market. The device will be sold via Flipkart, realme.com and offline retail stores across India, starting January 8, 2026.
