Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Launched in India with Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and 200 MP camera

Redmi has officially unveiled its latest mid-range smartphone, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, alongside the Redmi Note 15 Pro. The smartphone is an upper mid-range offering that banks on durability, prolonged battery life and packs the latest from Qualcomm. Starting off with the display, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ features a 6.83-inch 120 Hz 1.5K Quad-curved AMOLED display. It's a 12-bit panel with 480Hz touch sampling rate, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and can get as bright as 3,200 nits. Design-wise, the phone features an aluminium chassis with a glass back.  

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ features the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, making it the first smartphone to debut in India with the processor. It's a 4nm chipset featuring Cortex-A720 and A520 cores with a maximum core clock speed of 2.71 GHz. It is paired with the Adreno 810 GPU for handling gaming duties, and features LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.

Powering the internals is a 6,500mAh battery that's supported by 100W HyperCharge wired charging. The phone also supports 22.5W reverse wired charging, turning it into a power bank for your accessories. The phone also boasts great durability with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, making it dust and water-resistant.

Optics-wise, the mobile phone comes with a 200 MP Samsung HPE primary f/1.7 sensor with OIS, flanked by an 8 MP ultrawide lens. The front hosts a 32 MP unit for selfies. The phone also has dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and a 400% volume boost toggle when needed.

As for the software, despite Android 16 being already out, the phone comes with HyperOS 2, based on Android 15 out of the box. However, it is a part of the HyperOS 3 supported devices list and Redmi is promising four years of major Android updates and six years of security patches.

Connectivity-wise, the smartphone gets Dual SIM card support with 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and USB 2.0 Type-C. It also has an optical in-display fingerprint sensor for unlocking the phone. Besides, the phone boasts all the basic sensors users would expect from an upper mid-range smartphone, including Gyroscope, Accelerometer, IR Blaster and Proximity sensor.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ comes in the Black, Glacier Blue and Mocha Brown colour options and will be available for purchase from February 4, 2026, via Amazon, the Mi.com store and partner retail stores. From the looks of it, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is a solid upper mid-range offering and certainly one of the best phones under Rs 40,000 for shutterbugs to consider.
