Back in January, 2026, Redmi introduced a new Turbo 5 Max smartphone in China. Now, it appears to be already working on the sequel, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max, as key details for the phone have now surfaced online.
Redmi Turbo 6 Max Tipped with More than 10,000mAh Battery Capacity
A new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) on Weibo has revealed that a new phone, believed to be the Redmi Turbo 6 Max, is currently being tested with an above 10,000mAh battery capacity. If true, this will become the biggest battery capacity phone from Redmi to date.

To recall, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max shipped with a 9,000mAh battery. Moreover, the post claims that the phone will ship with a large 7-inch 2K display, making it one of the very first 7-inch display phones. The Turbo 5 Max featured a 6.83-inch panel.
Also, in terms of performance, the translated DCS post mentions a "3nm Dimensity 9 series near-flagship chip". While the official processor name is not shared, we believe the leaker is talking about the Dimensity 9500s chipset which is what powers the Turbo 5 Max as well.
As for the rest, while the current leak has not shared anything else, previous leaks believe that the Redmi Turbo 6 Max will also include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a metal frame and IP68 + IP69 ratings.
That said, it is still very early to comment whether the leak is indeed of the Redmi Turbo 6 Max. So, take this revelation with a pinch of salt. We do not expect the phone to launch before Q4 2026. Hence, there is plenty of time left for more details to crop up.
