After launching the flagship Galaxy S26 series at the start of 2026, Samsung has since then been hard at work launching a host of mid-range smartphones catering to budget audiences. After launching the A37 and A57, the brand is now working on the Galaxy A27, and a massive leak has exposed its design alongside a few key specs.
Galaxy A27 Tipped to Pack Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 Processor
The leaked renders arrive courtesy of OnLeaks and MyMobile, revealing what's seemingly the Galaxy A27 in three colours – Pink, Black and Navy. It looks like the phone is getting a significant facelift from its predecessor, as it's adopting a punch-hole display, ditching Samsung's Infinity-U notch cutout. The bezels are quite thick and non-uniform, but the chin appears to be a lot thinner than the Galaxy A26.

The renders also suggest the Galaxy A27's chassis will adopt the Key Island design with a slightly raised frame around the volume and power buttons. The back of the smartphone is relatively clean. The camera island now encompasses a ring running across the edges, corresponding to the colour of the smartphone, giving it a youthful look.
As for the leaked specifications, MyMobile claims that Samsung could move away from Exynos 1380 in favour of Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. This was confirmed by the recent Galaxy A27 appearance on Geekbench. This could result in better thermals and slightly better performance compared to its predecessor. Complementing the performance could be up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.

Display-wise, it's expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED panel, which is expected to be fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging. The Galaxy A27 will almost certainly run One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 out of the box and could receive a five-year update promise.
The leaked spec sheet also points to several cost-cutting measures, like the removal of expandable storage. It retains the 50 MP main camera from its predecessor but packs downgraded 5 MP ultrawide and 12 MP selfie cameras.
While the exact launch date of the smartphone has not been confirmed, considering the renders are already here and the Galaxy A27 was accidentally confirmed by Samsung recently, we expect the official launch to take place sometime in June 2026.
