Last year, talks of the Samsung Galaxy A27 being in the works surfaced online. Then, fast forward to April 2026, we got to see the Samsung Galaxy A27 design in all its glory, which was followed by a Geekbench spotting of the phone shortly after. Now, it looks like Samsung couldn't keep it in any longer and has accidentally confirmed the existence of the phone ahead of launch.
Folks over at SamMobile spotted that the Samsung Galaxy A27 was briefly listed on the brand's Brazil website as a device compatible with the Samsung Wallet app. This inadvertent listing effectively confirms the phone's existence, even though the tech giant has yet to make an official announcement.

The brand has already refreshed its A-series this year with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37. So, it only makes sense for the Galaxy A27, successor of the Galaxy A26, to launch soon.
Samsung Galaxy A27 Specifications (Leaked)

Leaks and reports have already shed light on some of the expected specifications. The Galaxy A27 is tipped to feature a 6.7-inch display with a modern Infinity-O punch-hole cutout, as seen in earlier leaked renders.
Under the hood, the smartphone is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 6 GB of RAM. For reference, this is the same processor that powers the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G, which launched earlier this month.
In terms of optics, the smartphone could sport a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens and a 2 MP macro shooter. For selfies, Samsung may include an upgraded 12 MP selfie shooter.
The Samsung Galaxy A27 is also expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast wired charging support. On the software front, it could run Android 16 with One UI 8.5 out of the box. Additionally, as was the case with the Samsung Galaxy A26, the Galaxy A27 could get support for six years of software updates.
While Samsung has not confirmed any official launch details yet, the accidental Galaxy A27 listing suggests that its debut could be imminent. More concrete information should surface in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
