Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G in India on August 3, 2026, expanding its budget-focused F-series lineup following the Galaxy F70e's launch earlier this year. It is widely believed to be a rebranded Galaxy M47 5G, which launched in the subcontinent a while back.
Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro Design and Key Specs Revealed
The launch date has been revealed via a dedicated microsite on Flipkart, where the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro will be sold exclusively. We also get a good look at the phone's design and it sports a clean, flat rear panel with a pill-shaped camera island housing a triple-camera setup.
The phone will launch in Alpha Black and Aura Green colourways with what appears to be a glossy back panel finish.
Apart from this, the brand has also confirmed that the phone will feature a Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. On top of that, the display will also feature Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection to "take on every day with 2.0m fall endurance and 4x scratch resistance."
On the optics front, the Galaxy F70 Pro sports a 50 MP main rear camera with OIS, a 2 MP macro shooter and a 5 MP ultra-wide lens. The phone will also come with 4K video recording capabilities with the No Shake Cam feature.
Additionally, the brand is also promising it to arrive with the "segment's only HDR selfie camera".
Under the hood, the Galaxy F70 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon processor with fast LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage configuration. However, the exact processor is currently under wraps.
On the software side of things, the phone is confirmed to run on One UI 8.5 out of the box. It is also being marketed with AI tools like Circle to Search, Google Gemini and AI voice transcription. Samsung also highlights the phone to be rocksolid on the privacy front, thanks to Samsung Knox Security and features like Private Album.
Other highlighted features include Samsung Wallet integration, Quick Share and VoiceFocus. It is also confirmed to flaunt six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security patches.
The brand is also promising 12 hours of social media scrolling, over 24 hours of YouTube streaming and over 8 hours of gaming, although the battery capacity is under wraps for now. The phone is confirmed to arrive with bypass charging support though.
