After rolling out the One UI 9.0 stable update to the budget Galaxy M07 and F07 earlier today, Samsung is releasing it for the mid-range Galaxy M35.
Spotted first by Tarun Vats on X, the Samsung Galaxy M35 is getting One UI 9 with firmware version M356BXXU9EZJ2. The update weighs a sizeable 2.7 GB, significantly larger than the One UI 9.0 stable update for the Galaxy F07, and incorporates the October 2026 security patch.

The update is similar in size to the One UI 9.0 update for the Galaxy A35. This implies that the Galaxy M35 and Galaxy A35 receive more features than other phones, especially in the AI department.
Speaking of which, One UI 9.0 features include a host of Galaxy AI features and improvements, including an improved Now Nudge experience. Additionally, there are more customisation options, including the ability to resize the media player, expand or shrink Quick Tiles and My FanCam.

Galaxy M35 users can grab the update by going to Settings -> Software update -> Check for updates. It's recommended to charge the device to at least 30% and back up files before initiating the update.
For those unaware, the Galaxy M35 was launched back in with Android 14 and was promised four major Android updates. This makes One UI 9 its third major update, and Android 18 will probably be its last.
Specs-wise, the smartphone features a 6.6-inch FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED display, an Exynos 1380 processor, up to 8 GB of RAM and a 50 MP main camera. Powering the smartphone is a 6,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
With Galaxy M35's update out of the way, Samsung should roll out the update to more One UI 9-eligible smartphones soon, so stay tuned.
