Samsung is bringing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered Galaxy S24 to India a year after the device debuted with Exynos 2400. Flipkart has started teasing the model, hinting that it will be available as part of the upcoming Big Billion Days sale.

Flipkart's deals page now lists the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered Galaxy S24 smartphone, and it will arrive under Rs 40,000. Users can wishlist the Galaxy S24 from its product page to instantly place their orders as and when the upcoming Flipkart sale begins.

It's worth noting that the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S24 will be priced under Rs 40,000 for the 8 GB + 128 GB variant. However, Flipkart also has a 256 GB variant listed on the product page, but we're not sure if it will go on sale. If it does, we'd hope it costs below Rs 45,000.

At launch, the Galaxy S24 Ultra was the only phone in the S24 series to be powered by a Snapdragon processor. The regular Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ used Samsung's in-house Exynos 2400.

With the launch of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered Galaxy S24, the firm could be eyeing a major chunk of buyers who are planning to get a great phone under Rs 40,000 in the upcoming sale.

Unfortunately, those who may have liked a bigger screen are out of luck as the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S24+ is not listed and probably won't make it to India.

For those unaware, the Galaxy S24 has a 6.2-inch 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with triple-rear cameras and a 4,000mAh battery. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is an Octa-core processor based on TSMC's 3nm process and is known to perform much better than the Exynos 2400.

Besides, another major selling point of the Galaxy S24 series is the promise of 7 years of major Android updates. It comes with One UI 7 out of the box and will soon receive One UI 8 this month. It could be one of the best phones to get this sale season if you need a device that could last for years.

As mentioned earlier, Flipkart's Big Billion Days sale is expected to begin on September 8, 2025. Stay tuned as we will cover some of the best deals to score in this festive season.
