Galaxy S25 Users Could Receive Stable One UI 8.5 Update as Early as This Month

Samsung has been on a roll recently, shipping new software updates regularly. It seeded a new One UI 8.5 Beta 7 update to the Galaxy S25 series in India two weeks back and now a new report has given us an idea as to when the stable One UI 8.5 might release for the Galaxy S25 lineup.

Galaxy S25 Series Could Receive Stable One UI 8.5 Update by April 2026 End

Veteran Samsung analyst Tarun Vats has mentioned in a new X post that Samsung will reportedly ship the stable One UI 8.5 update to Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 FE and Galaxy S25 Ultra on April 30, 2026.

The post mentions that in the first phase, Samsung will only prioritise users residing in South Korea. The update will reach international regions like India, Japan and more on May 4, 2026 and will expand gradually.

If true, this will turn into a significant moment as Galaxy S25 series users have been waiting with bated breath for the stable One UI 8.5 update release. Even though the One UI 8.5 Beta 7 update has brought forth many new changes like a new story type in Samsung Gallery app, multi-AI agent Bixby powered by Peplexity AI and more, there is still a lot more to come.

One UI 8.5 Stable Update Features

With the stable One UI 8.5 release, Samsung introduced several new features to the Galaxy S26 series. Although not all of them will trickle down to the Galaxy S25 lineup, here is a list of all the new features coming to the Galaxy S25 lineup:

• New 3D icons which adds depth effect to the homescreen
• Fully customisable Quick Settings panel with better first-party apps integration
• Revamped Battery Info page with improved Power Saving Mode
• Now Nudge
